Women’s hockey went 1-1 on the weekend with a 5-2 road loss to Boston College and a 3-0 home win against Holy Cross. Senior forward Nicole Dunbar had a goal in each game along with three points on the weekend and first year forward Tamara Thierus scored the first goal of her career.

Wildcats suffer first loss, but secure #1 seed in conference tournament

Last Friday, the Wildcats (12-1-3, 5-1-1) suffered their first loss of the season losing 1-0 to UAlbany (9-6-1, 4-3). UAlbany’s Austin DeSilva scored the game’s lone goal in the 22nd minute resulting in a change in the Wildcat’s loss column for the first time in 2019.
