'Cats roar back to defeat UAlbany on senior day

Emotions were heavy this past Saturday, as the UNH women’s basketball team (10-16, 7-7) celebrated the accomplished careers of their four seniors: forward Ashley Storey, guard Caroline Soucy, forward Maggie Ahearn and guard Sarah Clement.

Tension builds as playoffs approach

The end of the Hockey East regular season brings on a playoff-type atmosphere. As of now, UNH is on the outside looking in, only two points behind Providence College and Northeastern who hold the seventh and eighth seeds in the tournament.

Astle steals show at America East Championship

This past weekend the America East Indoor Track Championships took place at Boston University. The men’s and women’s teams both ended the two-day meet with top-four finishes, the men taking third with 100.5 points and the women taking fourth also with 100.5 points.

This past weekend UNH gymnastics hosted UNC for their Faculty Appreciation Day in the Lundholm Gymnasium. This was the third consecutive match UNH faced off against UNC.

Wildcats surge in America East standings

On the back of senior forward Ashley Storey’s 18-point and 21-point performances, the UNH women’s basketball team (9-16, 6-7) defeated UMBC (8-15, 4-8) and Hartford (0-27, 0-13) in a pivotal two-game stretch this past Saturday and Wednesday.

Pair of losses drops Wildcats into ninth place

'Cats win eighth America East Championship

Lester named conference Player of the Week

UNH men’s basketball played host to the Stony Brook Seawolves on Saturday, Feb. 8. The Wildcats featured four players reaching double digits including senior forward Chris Lester who led all scorers with 22 en route to his team’s 81-64 win.
