UNH ties to Monday’s CFP National Championship Game

·

The biggest storyline ahead of Monday night’s College Football Playoff National Championship Game is head coach Nick Saban going for his seventh career national title. Saban has led his Alabama Crimson Tide to a 12-0 record en route to becoming the No. 1 team in the nation and now bidding to become national champions. For the state of New Hampshire, however, there should be a heightened level of interest for the No. 3 Ohio State Buckeyes on Monday night.

Importance of the New England Patriots final games as playoff hopes diminish

·

The New England Patriots returned from a two-game trip to Los Angeles after a dominant win over the Chargers and an equally woeful loss to the Rams. The same week that Tom Brady said he never plans on returning to the cold of the Northeast, in all likelihood, the Patriots won’t be returning to the playoffs this year either. Sitting at third in the AFC with a record of 6-7, the Patriots are on the outside of the playoff picture looking in. However, this doesn’t mean there isn’t anything for the Patriots to be playing for in their final three matchups.

“Trader Danny” still searching for answers seven years later

·

On July 27, 2013, Boston Celtics General Manager Danny Ainge completed one of the greatest heists the NBA has ever seen, most notably trading Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett to the Brooklyn Nets for five players and an eventual four first-round picks.
