In November, President Joe Biden signed into law an infrastructure bill that will affect the entire country. The trillion-dollar piece of legislation will go towards roads, bridges, public transportation and more across the country. Currently, one bridge in Durham located on Mill Road is considered red-listed and multiple swaths of pavement are deemed in poor or fair condition, according to the NH Department of Transportation (DOT)’s last survey.

DURHAM, N.H. — The University of New Hampshire's (UNH) Tucker Field sits adjacent to Wildcat Stadium and will serve as the future home for the Wildcats' soccer and lacrosse programs. Phase I of the project was completed in 2019 but the field still has a ways to go before it will be a viable game site for these programs. UNH Director of Athletics Marty Scarano says they're about $1.5 million away from being able to complete it, but hopes to be able to mark an end date by the time he retires in the spring.

[Durham, NH]-- Nov. 16. The University of New Hampshire’s (UNH) Chi Omega sorority hosted a Make-a-Wish New Hampshire event, raising over $2,000 for the foundation. At the event, Mr. UNH, five UNH male contestants competed in talent, swimwear and formal Q&A. Ramon Graham of Sigma Nu, Jackson Bloom of Lambda Chi Alpha, Taylor Donovan of SCOPE, Gordon Woods, and Mody Abdelsalam of the UNH football team all participated in Mr. UNH.

DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire (UNH) Wildcats (4-2, 0-0) kept themselves in the win column on Saturday night with a 67-45 win over the Central Connecticut State (CCSU) Blue Devils (2-7, 0-0). It was a pair of unlikely players that got the job done for New Hampshire in this one. Senior big man Tayler Mattos got UNH off the ground early. But it was sophomore point guard Blondeau Tchoukuiegno’s career-high 20 points that truly put the Blue Devils to sleep on a night when CCSU played UNH tighter than the scoreboard may have read.

DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire (UNH) has named Ricky Santos as the 20th head coach in the program history on Tuesday morning. Santos will be the new face of Wildcat football, and is tasked with taking the reins from one of the more decorated coaches in the history of the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS). He’ll also look to restore order into a program that used to be a mainstay in the FCS Playoffs.

By all accounts, University of New Hampshire (UNH) sophomore quarterback Max Brosmer was in the best shape of his life ahead of the 2021 fall campaign. On the heels of his third offseason in the program, teammates commended Brosmer’s decision making and athleticism during training camp. A season where Brosmer and the Wildcats were going to have to prove they belonged in the conversation at the top of the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) quickly turned into one where Brosmer had to prove himself not only as a quarterback, but a coach.

CORVALLIS, ORE. — The No. 16 University of New Hampshire (UNH) Wildcats (17-1-2, 7-0-1) jetted off to Oregon Friday afternoon after flying high versus North Carolina in a 4-1 victory. The win advanced UNH to their second ever Sweet-16 appearance in the NCAA tournament. The long flight to Oregon was made better by the generosity of the New England Patriots and Kraft family, who lent the Wildcats their team plane.

DURHAM, NH – Don't corner a wounded animal. The University of North Carolina (UNC) Tar Heels (11-7-2, 4-4-0) learned that lesson the hard way Sunday afternoon at Wildcat Stadium. The University of New Hampshire (UNH) Wildcats (17-1-2) were licking their wounds from a 1-0 defeat to Vermont in the America East (AE) Championship before the second-round NCAA Tournament contest. The Wildcats took out all the pain from that loss on the Tar Heels, sinking their teeth into the visitors in a 4-1 thrashing.

DURHAM, N.H. – Coming by way of an announcement from University of New Hampshire (UNH) Athletics, Director of Athletics Marty Scarano has revealed his intention to retire following the 2021-22 season. Scarano will have served 22 years in his current position and will help UNH in the transition to a new AD through the remainder of the academic year.
