“Oh God! Run! Run!” A voice shouts out from where the cacophonous noise emanated. Tracy, James and ZoopZoop see a tall, lanky and speckle bearded gentlemen run toward them. This is Ozburtle the Wizard. “I’m not running for my health,” he exclaims. “Let’s go!”
“Don’t make this complicated,” Tracy says. “We’re on another planet whose atmosphere is breathable and contains no known predators. It’s all in the manual, also in the glove box, but just look.” Tracy opens the car door. Electric guitar music can be heard off in the distance. The red clay desert stays silent.
“You want me to get into the car now?” James asks. He’s on the sidewalk looking at the endless parade of vehicles. He commutes to school and to save money and make friends he decides to give carpooling a chance.
It’s as simple as that. “Rick and Morty’s” fourth season is still just as funny as the first three. The new season premiered on Adult Swim two Sundays ago at 11:30 p.m. The series created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon (“Community”) is possibly the best series on the air because with each new season the show sets a bar they continually achieve and surpass. The series is in competition with itself and doesn’t worry about what else is being shown 30 minutes later on another network or whichever latest streaming series just launched.

It’s that time of year again to revisit the gunpowder treason and plot as well as to watch “V for Vendetta.” Here is some background information that will help. In the United Kingdom on November 5, 1605, Guy Fawkes was arrested as part of a conspiracy to blow up the House of Lords (kind of like the Senate, not really, but yeah). He was standing watch over many explosives underneath the House of Lords. He was part of a group of Catholics that wanted to take out James I, a protestant King, and replace him with a Catholic one. This religious difference was a big and bloody debate (literally bloody, I’m not being cute and punny, at least not at this moment) but suffice to say that bad things were done on both sides.
Sophia took a sip of her medium roast Ethiopian coffee out of an orange ceramic mug inside Breaking New Grounds, a coffee shop on Main Street. She looked at her friends Emily, Sam, Ian and Caleb and asked, “You know why this place is called Breaking New Grounds, right?” Sophia took another sip and all four shook their heads in the universal sign for no as Emily bit into her pistachio muffin, Caleb dipped his apricot scone into his cappuccino and Sam and Ian gently gulped some dark roast java. They were sitting at a high-top table in the front of the café. “Well, it’s foundation was built on top of an ancient native burial ground.”

“The Seventh Seal” is not an epic biopic on the reincarnations of the superb R&B singer Seal. Somebody go out and make that movie right now. However, “The Seventh Seal” is one of the world’s best films ever made. Ever! It’s just a truth. Like, how Beyoncé is always on beat or how if you’re running late you will hit every red light on your way to your very important and state-sanctioned therapy and Zumba class. You’d never be late to Zumba though because it makes you feel like a warrior. Just like how setting fires make you feel invincible…
I decided, for science, to undertake a spooky experiment. I watched “Friday the 13th” on Friday the 13th. There was a harvest moon and I had drunk a pumpkin spice latte because I’m an adult and I can make those types of adult decisions for myself. I was terrified that this event could cause a possible singularity. Anything was bound to occur from watching this movie on this date. Would I die? Could this be a Pop Rocks and Coke situation? I’ll end the suspense though… I’m still alive! Maybe, just maybe, it wasn’t a scientific enough experiment. I wasn’t at a camp and it wasn’t 1980. I don’t know if all the variables were met. Perhaps the fact that the drinking age was 18 in 1980 had something to do with the disastrous consequences. It’s hard to tell when you’re almost four-decade-evening quarterbacking a fictional event, but it’s best to leave no stone unturned. All the lights were off in the room too.
If you’re looking for more interaction in your life but prefer the isolation of your own room, then “Black Mirror: Bandersnatch” is the perfect film for you. It was written by the creator of the “Black Mirror” series, Charlie Brooker, and directed by David Slade. The movie’s concept is based off the popular choose-your-own-adventure style of novel and storytelling. Viewers decide with the click of their remote how the story will unfold for Stefan Butler. Stefan is a computer programmer working in England on an interactive video game. This is a first of its kind during the prehistoric age of the 1980s. This review will function in the same vein as the movie. You get to choose your own review. Each paragraph will be a different color and you’ll be directed where to go based on your decision. The Netflix movie is fully endorsed by all the living members of the band, and after watching the film you’ll see just how much of an accomplishment that is for such a debaucherous group. They should all be dead; the sheer number of drugs and alcohol content in their bodies would sedate a hippopotamus.
UNH’s Relay for Life committee prepares for their biggest event this year—an 18-hour relay for which all proceeds go to the American Cancer Society. The event begins on Saturday, April 27 at noon and ends at 6 a.m. on Sunday, April 28. The New Hampshire spoke with Norah Silverstone, a senior communications major and the head of recruitment of the Relay for Life committee on campus.
The New Hampshire Democratic Party held a meeting at the University of New Hampshire (UNH) on Monday in room 233, right next to Grafton Lounge, in the Memorial Union Building entitled “Student and Local Community Leaders Highlight Sununu’s Failure on Student Debt Crisis.” The meeting included Democratic State Senator David Watters, currently serving his fourth consecutive term, as well as Democratic State Representatives Tamara Le and Liz McConnell.
Long lines and smiling faces were decorating all three of the universities dining halls; Holloway Commons, Phillbrook and Stillings, for the Winter Celebration Dinner Wednesday night, an event that ushered in the season of giving and finals. Holloway Commons sported a hot chocolate and eggnog bar for students. A multitude of treats ranging from peppermint marble bark to yule logs to a cinnamon babka. The university provides healthy options for students and has been ranked as having some of the best food at a college in the nation.
